Two injured in head-on crash in Mashantucket
Two individuals sustained injuries following a head-on collision in Mashantucket along Route 2 Saturday morning, law enforcement authorities reported. The incident occurred when two vehicles were traveling in opposite directions on Route 2 near Foxwoods Boulevard. One of the cars veered into the western lanes and collided with the other vehicle at around 1:08 a.m. The drivers were taken to Backus Hospital for serious yet non-life-threatening injuries.
