Two individuals injured in Pittsburgh intersection collision involving PRT bus and car

Two individuals were hospitalized in stable condition following a collision between a car and a Pittsburgh Regional Transit bus in the city on Friday morning. Emergency services responded to the scene at the intersection of 26th Street and Liberty Avenue after receiving a report of a two-vehicle crash with entrapment around 9 a.m. One person on the bus sustained injuries, while the car's driver was trapped inside the vehicle upon arrival of police, EMS, and fire rescue teams. Paramedics successfully extracted the driver from the car, and both the driver and the bus passenger were taken to the hospital in stable condition. The incident occurred when the car rear-ended the bus, which had around 15 passengers onboard at the time. Investigations into the crash are being carried out by Port Authority Police.
