Two individuals injured in collision near Mt. Tom base in Easthampton
Emergency responders were called to a collision involving two cars on Holyoke Street near Mt. Tom in Easthampton. One passenger was trapped, and two individuals were taken to the hospital. Both of Easthampton's ambulances were busy, so additional help was requested from Northampton, Southampton, and Westhampton. Firefighters used tools to extract the trapped person, who was then transported to the hospital. The conditions of the two patients are unknown at this time. Easthampton Police closed the road and provided immediate medical assistance. The cause of the accident is being investigated. We will provide updates as more details emerge.
