Two females injured in collision with pickup truck in Butler County
Two women sustained serious injuries in a collision in Butler County, near Leon, on Friday afternoon around 2 p.m. The incident occurred at the intersection of U.S. Highway 54 and Southeast 100th Street. The Kansas Highway Patrol reported that the women, aged 47 and 34, were traveling west on 100th Street and failed to stop at the intersection, resulting in a collision with a pickup truck heading north on the highway. Both women were transported to the hospital with suspected serious injuries, while the 51-year-old male driver of the pickup truck did not appear to have any injuries, according to the KHP.
