Two fatalities in Ector County car crash
In Odessa, a fatal collision occurred when a 2019 Chevrolet 2500 traveling southbound on Knox Ave disregarded a stop sign at the intersection of W. University and was struck by a 2012 GMC Yukon traveling westbound on FM 2020. The driver of the Chevrolet, Juan Manuel Nunez-Quiroz, 61, and a passenger in the GMC, Tyson Cooper Avery, 32, both of Odessa, were pronounced dead at the scene. Several others, including children, sustained injuries. The incident is currently under investigation, and further details are pending.
