Two fatalities following crash
Authorities in Salem Township are currently looking into a fatal single-vehicle accident that resulted in the passing of two individuals. The incident took place late on Saturday night in the area of 10000 W. Oak Harbor Southeast Road and was reported to the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office via multiple 911 calls. When deputies arrived at the scene, they found two individuals who were unresponsive due to the crash. Sadly, one person was pronounced deceased on-site, while the other was taken to a nearby hospital where they also succumbed to their injuries. Both deaths are now under investigation for possible suspicious circumstances, as stated in a release by the Sheriff's Office.
