Two Detroit cops hurt in Saturday evening accident
Authorities confirmed that two police officers were slightly injured when their patrol car was hit by another driver on Saturday night near Gratiot and Lappin. A bystander reported assisting in removing the officers and the other driver from their vehicles and stated that the driver who hit the patrol car had gone through a red light. The police mentioned that two individuals were in the other vehicle, with one being taken to the hospital for minor injuries while the other declined medical attention.
