Two arrested after driving through I-240 crash site

Two people, a man and a woman have been arrested and are in police custody following an incident where they allegedly drove through a crime scene involving a motorcycle crash on I-240 in Memphis on Sunday night. The crash resulted in the tragic death of a Memphis Fire Department veteran. Initially, a blue BMW driven by Marcia Davis allegedly ignored road closures and barriers set up by law enforcement at the scene, putting officers and emergency responders at risk. Davis is facing multiple charges including driving under the influence, reckless endangerment, and resisting official detention. Fabian Sanchez, on the other hand, was charged with driving under the influence and other offenses after he too ignored traffic closures and made suspicious actions during a traffic stop. Additionally, Cierra Pearson, who was a passenger in Sanchez's vehicle, interfered with law enforcement's efforts by not cooperating with their instructions during the incident, leading to her arrest. All individuals are awaiting court proceedings following their arrests.
