Truck driver's unconsciousness causes crash in Dallas, leaving one dead and six injured

Dallas Fire-Rescue officials reported that a semi-truck driver lost consciousness and collided with four other vehicles, among them a DART bus, in Far Northeast Dallas on Monday afternoon. The incident occurred at the Plano Rd. and Miller Rd. intersection around 12:30 p.m. Seven individuals were injured, with five sustaining non-life-threatening injuries and one in critical but stable condition. Unfortunately, the semi-truck driver passed away in hospital. The identities of those involved have not been disclosed. While the crash is being investigated, authorities suspect a medical emergency contributed to the accident.
