Truck driver in DeKalb County train collision recalls life-threatening moment
Early on Friday morning in DeKalb County, a train and a truck were involved in a collision at Covington Highway and Turner Hill Road. The incident resulted in the splitting of the 18-wheeler into two parts, with the trailer and cab ending up on different sides of the tracks. Fortunately, the trailer, which carried cars, seemed mostly undamaged. The truck driver, Toree Davis, shared that his truck got stuck on the tracks, prompting him to jump out just before the train arrived. Thankfully, he was unharmed. FOX 5 is currently investigating whether there were any injuries among the train passengers.
