Truck driver charged with negligent homicide in fatal Yellowstone County crash.
A tragic incident took place on Interstate 90 resulting in the loss of a volunteer firefighter and EMT. The driver of the commercial vehicle involved has been charged with negligent homicide and five counts of felony criminal endangerment. Court documents revealed that the driver, Sarbjeet Parmar, allegedly manipulated the Electronic Logbook Device in his vehicle and did not adhere to the required resting hours. The investigation concluded that the accident was likely due to driver fatigue rather than environmental factors. Kevin Wilkerson, a dedicated volunteer firefighter and retired Coast Guard veteran, lost his life in the crash.
