Truck collides with Bridgton bakery after striking another vehicle on Route 302
A pickup truck crashed into a Bridgton bakery on Thursday afternoon after being involved in a collision with another vehicle on Route 302. The Cann Family Bakery and Specialty Foods posted a picture on Facebook around 12:20 p.m. depicting the damage caused by the crash. The bakery wall beneath a window sustained a crack, and potted plants fell to the floor due to the impact. Fortunately, the bakery confirmed in the Facebook post that everyone is safe, with no serious injuries reported. Images provided to Maine's Total Coverage show a Chevrolet Silverado colliding with one corner of the bakery, while the other vehicle in the crash, identified with a "Town of Naples" decal and "Animal Control Officer" signage, had significant damage to its front end.
