Troopers with the South Carolina Highway Patrol have released more details following a deadly motorcycle crash in Spartanburg County.Officials say it happened around 4:05 p.m. near Highway 101 and Highway 80 in Greer. Troopers say a motorcycle was traveling eastbound on Highway 80 when a car that was traveling westbound attempted to turn onto Highway 101 and was hit by the motorcycle. The coroner said Jim Puckett, 57, of Greenville, died at the scene.The driver of the car was taken to a hospital for their injuries.We have no update on their condition at this time.
