Tragic rollover crash in Lubbock County results in death of 20-year-old
LUBBOCK COUNTY, Texas-- The Department of Public Safety has confirmed that a fatal crash occurred overnight on Sunday near IH-27 on the southbound frontage road in New Deal, Texas. The Department of Public Safety (DPS) reported that the driver, Wyatt Reese Golden, 20, from Amarillo, lost control of the vehicle after veering off the left side of the road and overcorrecting to the right. Tragically, Golden passed away at the scene of the accident. The DPS investigation indicated that road conditions were clear at the time of the crash, and Golden was not wearing a seatbelt.
