Tragic Rockford accident takes lives of young driver and passenger
Two teenage girls tragically lost their lives in a car accident late Friday night on Mulford Road in Rockford. The Rockford Police Department reported that the incident involved an 18-year-old driver and her 14-year-old passenger in a single-vehicle crash near Forest Plaza around 11:30 p.m. Emergency services transported both girls to nearby hospitals, where they succumbed to their injuries, as confirmed by authorities.
