Tragic plane crash kills father and 3 sons in San Diego.
A loving father and his three sons were among the victims of the tragic plane crash in San Diego. The incident involved a twin-engine Cessna 414 that went down off the coast of Point Loma, claiming the lives of all six people on board according to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The wreckage of the plane was discovered approximately 200 feet deep in the Pacific Ocean. Although the FAA has not officially released the names of the victims, reports indicate that the individuals were pilot Landon Baldwin, his wife Torrie Baldwin, Jeremy Bingham, and his sons Ayden, Gavin, and Bailey. All six victims were said to be from Gila Valley, Arizona. A local radio station, Kat Kountry 94.5, paid tribute to the Bingham family, emphasizing Jeremy’s role as a pillar in the community and celebrating the remarkable children he raised. Heartfelt condolences were also shared on social media in memory of the Baldwins, highlighting Landon's dedication as a husband, father, and friend, as well as Torrie's loving spirit. The tragic crash occurred nearly 3 miles west of San Diego at 12:30 pm following takeoff on Sunday. Before the plane went down, the pilot had reported difficulties in gaining altitude to air traffic controllers. Despite instructions to ascend to 4,000 feet, the aircraft remained at a lower altitude, prompting the pilot to signal a distress call and ultimately leading to the loss of radar contact with controllers.
