
Tragic Plane Crash Claims Six Lives, Two Inside Residential Home
A medical evacuation plane operated by AMREF Flying Doctors crashed in a residential neighborhood near Nairobi, Kenya, resulting in the deaths of at least six individuals. This tragic incident involved the plane, a Cessna Citation XLS, departing from Nairobi and crashing in the Mwihoko area of Kiambu County. Local officials confirmed that four individuals on board the aircraft lost their lives, while two others perished inside a house struck by the plane. The cause of the crash is currently under investigation in collaboration with aviation authorities and emergency responders. The Red Cross sent emergency personnel to the crash site to assist with rescue efforts. The incident caused damage to residential structures and resulted in injuries to two individuals.
