Tragic multi-car accident in Waukesha Village, claims 2 lives
A tragic accident on State Highway 164 in the Village of Waukesha on June 9, 2025, resulted in the loss of two lives. The Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office responded to a multi-vehicle crash at the intersection of State Highway 164 and Lawnsdale Road. Initial findings suggest that a 44-year-old man driving a semi-truck southbound collided with a vehicle driven by a 91-year-old woman attempting to turn left onto Lawnsdale Road, leading to a chain reaction. Tragically, the 91-year-old driver and a 92-year-old passenger in the turning vehicle did not survive. The drivers of the semi-truck and the third vehicle sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were hospitalized. The intersection was shut down for several hours for investigation, with the inquiry still ongoing.
