Tragic multi-car accident in Village of Waukesha, 2 fatalities
Two people have tragically lost their lives in a multi-vehicle collision that took place on State Highway 164 in the Village of Waukesha on June 9, 2025. The incident occurred at the intersection of State Highway 164 and Lawnsdale Road. Details from the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office reveal that a 44-year-old man was operating a semi-truck southbound on the highway when a 91-year-old woman driving northbound attempted to turn left onto Lawnsdale Road, resulting in a collision with the semi-truck. The impact pushed the woman's vehicle into another vehicle at the intersection. Regrettably, both the 91-year-old driver and her 92-year-old passenger lost their lives in the collision. The driver of the semi-truck and the driver of the third vehicle sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital. The intersection remained closed for several hours for investigation purposes, and authorities are continuing to look into the incident.
