Tragic motorcycle accident in Morgan City: one fatality, multiple injuries
A tragic incident in Morgan City has resulted in the death of a local motorcyclist, Gregory Free, following a collision with a Jeep. The crash occurred at the intersection of La. 70 and Victor II Boulevard, where the driver of the Jeep attempted a left turn, resulting in the motorcyclist striking the vehicle. Free was fatally injured and succumbed to his injuries at a nearby hospital. Additionally, a passenger on the motorcycle sustained moderate to severe injuries and was transported to an out-of-town medical facility. The driver of the Jeep also suffered moderate injuries and received treatment at a different hospital. The Morgan City Police Department is currently investigating the accident.
