Over the weekend, a tragic boating accident occurred on Lake Tahoe during severe weather conditions, resulting in seven fatalities. The El Dorado County Sheriff's Office confirmed that a deceased boater was found late Sunday evening. Currently, there are two survivors and one person still missing. The incident took place at D.L. Bliss State Park where a 27-foot Chris-Craft vessel capsized during a powerful thunderstorm, with winds reaching approximately 30 knots and swells up to 8 feet. The U.S. Coast Guard reported that 10 individuals were on board, with two rescued and taken to a hospital. The identities of those involved have not yet been disclosed. Nearby video footage captured boats at a marina colliding amid the turbulent weather conditions.
