Tragic highway 9 accident on Monday morning
A tragic two-vehicle collision occurred early Monday morning on Highway 9 in Grand County, Colorado, resulting in the engulfing of an SUV and a Ford F-150 pickup in flames. The driver of the pickup sustained critical injuries and was airlifted to a nearby hospital. Regrettably, all occupants of the SUV were pronounced deceased at the scene, but due to the extensive damage and fire, authorities were unable to confirm the exact number of individuals involved. Both directions of Highway 9 are currently closed for investigation, and the area is expected to remain closed for an extended period.
