Tragic end for Indian-American family missing for 5 days

Four elderly members of an Indian-origin family who disappeared during a road trip in the US were tragically discovered deceased on Sunday. The Marshall County Sheriff's office stated that the seniors, all in their 80s, perished in a car accident. Their vehicle, a light green Toyota Camry, was found in a severely damaged state off a steep embankment along Big Wheeling Creek Road, in a remote area where it took over five hours for rescue teams to reach the crash site. Sheriff Mike Dougherty extended sympathies and mentioned that an investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing. The group, consisting of Dr. Kishore Divan (89), Asha Divan (85), Shailesh Divan (86), and Gita Divan (84), were last seen at a Burger King on Peach Street in Erie, Pennsylvania, on July 29. They were headed to the Palace of Gold in Marshall County but never arrived. Their New York-registered vehicle had license plate number EKW2611. Despite their intended stay at the Palace of Gold, they never checked in. Cell phone signals from their devices were last detected around 3 am on Wednesday in Moundsville. Various search efforts were conducted over the past few days to locate the missing family members.
