Tragic Deer Creek crash claims lives of 2 teenage girls

Two teenagers have tragically lost their lives, with two others injured, in a single-vehicle accident on Monday night in Deer Creek, Logan County. The incident occurred when a vehicle traveling west on County Road veered off the road, hitting a bridge guardrail before coming to a stop in a creek bed near Charter Oak Road and May Avenue. Lt. Eric Foster from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol mentioned that a specialized wrecker had to be utilized to remove the truck from a deep 30-foot ravine off the roadway. Among those involved, two teenage girls lost their lives, while another girl is in critical condition. The fourth teenager sustained injuries but is expected to recover. The identities of the girls have not been disclosed, but they were all from the Deer Creek area.
