Tragic death of 9-year-old boy in Glenpool accident
A tragic incident occurred on Sept. 8 when a 9-year-old student from Glenpool lost their life in a multi-car crash at 7:30 a.m. The accident, involving five vehicles, resulted in the closure of the road for an extended period. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported that the crash happened as a vehicle attempted to avoid colliding with a semi-truck turning onto 151st Street. The vehicle crossed the median and collided with other cars on the eastbound side of 151st Street. Five individuals sustained injuries, with some in critical condition, and were taken to a Tulsa hospital for treatment.
