Tragic death in Sacramento police pursuit crash with 7 vehicles
A tragic incident occurred in Sacramento on Saturday when an innocent bystander lost their life during a police pursuit that resulted in a major multi-vehicle crash at the intersection of Florin Road and Greenhaven Drive. The pursuit began after Sacramento police received a call from a woman concerned about a potential domestic abuser at a residence on Farm Dale Way. The suspect, identified as Daniel Cunningham, 33, was wanted for felony domestic violence. Despite police attempts to stop him, Cunningham led officers on a high-speed chase that ended in the fatal collision. Police confirmed that Cunningham will face charges related to a parole violation, domestic violence, and felony pursuit. The California Highway Patrol is now investigating the collision.
