Tragic crash leaves two dead and five injured in Delaware County

A tragic multi-vehicle collision in Delaware County last Wednesday evening resulted in several injuries and deaths. The incident occurred just after 8:30 p.m. near the intersection of U.S. Route 23 and State Route 750 in Orange Township, Delaware County. Two individuals lost their lives, and five others suffered injuries as a result of the crash. The collision involved a 2018 Dodge Ram pickup truck driven by a Columbus woman, which crossed the center line and collided head-on with a 2021 Toyota Venza driven by a man from Mount Cory, Ohio. The impact caused the Dodge Ram to then strike a 2025 Honda Accord, leading to both vehicles catching fire. Tragically, two of the passengers in the Toyota Venza, Carol Waldman, 64, and Amanda Reidling, 54, were pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation into the crash is ongoing, and multiple agencies are involved in the process, including the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Delaware County Sheriff's Office, Ohio Department of Transportation, Delaware County EMS, and Orange Township Fire and EMS.
