Tragic crash in Dana Point leaves one teen dead, 5 injured
A tragic accident in Dana Point on Tuesday resulted in the death of one teenager and injuries to five others, according to authorities. The incident occurred around 11:45 a.m. at Island Way and Dana Point Harbor Drive when the truck the teenagers were traveling in collided with a tree. Reports state that the driver of the truck was pronounced dead at the scene, and the five passengers were taken to the hospital for treatment. Three of the passengers were in critical condition, while the remaining two sustained minor injuries. The Orange County Sheriff's Department is currently conducting an investigation into the crash, but no details about the victims have been released at this time.
