Tragic crash claims life of 14-year-old girl in McHenry.
Early Monday morning in McHenry, Illinois, tragedy struck as a 14-year-old boy and a 19-year-old woman lost their lives in a three-vehicle collision. The incident occurred at the intersection of Richmond Road and McCullom Lake Road around 12:30 a.m. Reports indicate that a red 2006 Audi A4 collided with a black 2015 Nissan Sentra at the intersection, leading to a chain reaction that involved an unoccupied Toyota Echo. The two occupants in the Nissan, the teenage boy and the young woman, were unfortunately pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Audi, an 18-year-old man, sustained serious injuries and was taken to Northwestern McHenry for treatment.
