Tragic collision involving tanker truck carrying 7,800 gallons of milk near Canal Point
One individual has tragically lost their life following a collision between a vehicle and a tractor trailer in the vicinity of Canal Point. The incident, reported by Palm Beach County Fire Rescue, occurred on U.S. Highway 441 between Hole in the Wall Road and Morning Star Farms Road at approximately 12:15 p.m. on Wednesday. A tractor trailer carrying around 7,800 gallons of milk overturned, coming to rest against an embankment with milk seeping into an adjacent field. Fortunately, no fuel was spilled during the accident. The collision involved a single vehicle alongside the truck, resulting in the driver being declared deceased at the scene. The investigation has now been assumed by the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.
