Tragic collision in Marysville claims lives of three, baby hospitalized
Three individuals have tragically lost their lives, and others, including a baby, have been injured after a car collision in Marysville. The incident occurred on Saturday afternoon at the intersection of East 24th Street and Laurellen Road on Highway 70. The crash involved a truck and a sedan, with the truck driver being airlifted to Sutter-Roseville Hospital, while the sedan carried five individuals. Unfortunately, three passengers from the sedan were pronounced dead at the scene, and the remaining two, one of which is an infant, were transported to a nearby hospital. The condition of the infant is currently uncertain, and the other person sustained severe injuries. The deceased individuals have not been identified, and the Yuba County Sheriff's Office is investigating the accident.
