Tragic accident on U.S. 81 results in the death of a 6-year-old
A tragic incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon in Grady County, Oklahoma, where a 6-year-old child from Comanche lost their life in a fatal collision. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported that the crash took place around 4:30 p.m. near County Road 1590 on U.S. 81 when two vehicles were heading northbound. The collision occurred when one of the vehicles slowed down to turn onto a private drive and was rear-ended by the second vehicle. The driver of the struck vehicle sustained injuries, and their current condition is not known. The child in that vehicle tragically passed away at the scene, while the driver of the other vehicle involved was unharmed. OHP confirmed that all individuals had their seatbelts on at the time of the accident.
