Tragic Accident on I-94 Close to Madison
An 89-year-old woman from Milwaukee passed away on Friday, May 9, after a multi-vehicle accident near mile marker 136 on the westbound side of I-94, close to Madison. The incident occurred at approximately 1:55 p.m. while emergency crews were in the process of clearing a different crash on northbound I-39/90/94. The collision involved four vehicles, including two pickups, an SUV, and a travel trailer. Two individuals sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to the hospital. The elderly woman later succumbed to her injuries at the medical facility. The Wisconsin State Patrol is conducting an investigation into the incident.
