Tragic accident on I-44 in OKC: 1 woman dead, 3 critically injured
Authorities report that a tragic multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 44 in Oklahoma City resulted in the death of a woman and critical injuries to three others. The incident occurred in the early hours of Friday on westbound I-44 at Western Avenue. A collision report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol disclosed that a 23-year-old woman named Katelyn Callahan lost her life in the accident, with two 17-year-old girls and another individual from their vehicle sustaining critical injuries. Additionally, two individuals from another vehicle involved were taken to nearby hospitals in fair condition. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is currently investigating the details of the crash, which led to a temporary closure of westbound I-44 for over two hours.
