A young woman named Taylor Rockwell, aged 23, was tragically killed in a collision on I-39 in Rockford, Illinois. The Winnebago County Coroner's Office confirmed that Rockwell was driving south on the interstate when she lost control of her vehicle, crossed into the northbound lanes, and was hit by a semi-truck on Thursday evening. Despite being rushed to a nearby hospital, she succumbed to her injuries at 11:35 p.m. The incident, which led to anoxic brain injury, is currently being investigated by local law enforcement agencies.
