Tragic Accident in Oconee County
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is currently looking into a tragic incident in Oconee County. The crash occurred on Saturday around 7 p.m. in Seneca on Hoyt Street. Reports from troopers indicate that a 2004 Chevy Tahoe was heading east on Hoyt Street when the driver veered off the road's left side, striking an embankment and flipping over. The driver, who was alone in the vehicle, was taken to the hospital but unfortunately did not survive. The identity of the driver has not been disclosed by the coroner as of now.
