A tragic incident on Tuesday evening in West Allis has left a family devastated. The mother, aged 50, and her two sons, aged 21 and 15, tragically lost their lives when their car was struck by a driver fleeing from Milwaukee police near 35th and Vliet. The victims, who had come to Milwaukee as refugees from Thailand in 2011, were identified as Pler Moo, Moo Nay Taw, and Kar Lah Kri. Their family members, including Mook Wah, expressed shock and grief over the sudden loss of their loved ones. The family had gathered for a vigil to remember the victims, while two other family members who were also in the car during the incident are currently hospitalized. The driver of the fleeing vehicle, a 19-year-old man, was arrested by the police, and charges are set to be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office. Amidst the deep sadness, loved ones are hoping for the recovery of the hospitalized family members and have set up a GoFundMe page to provide support.
