Tragic accident claims young life on Peach Orchard Road
In Augusta, Georgia, a tragic incident occurred at the junction of Peach Orchard Road and Tobacco Road, resulting in the death of a child following a collision between two vehicles. The accident, which took place on Monday afternoon around 1 p.m., involved a vehicle carrying two adults and the child traveling south on Peach Orchard Road, colliding with another vehicle heading north at the intersection of Tobacco Road. The occupants of the first vehicle were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, but unfortunately, the child succumbed to their injuries. The Traffic Division is currently looking into the case, and as of now, the identities of those involved have not been disclosed.
