Tragic accident claims lives of two Marquette University students
Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene on Friday evening at the corner of 27th Street and St. Paul Avenue in Milwaukee. A 41-year-old driver crashed into a vehicle carrying six people, four of whom were students at Marquette University. Tragically, two students, aged 19 and 20, lost their lives in the accident, while two others were hospitalized for non-life-threatening injuries. Law enforcement has arrested the 41-year-old driver, and charges are pending with the Milwaukee County District Attorney's office. Marquette University has issued a statement expressing condolences and requesting prayers for the affected families and the university community.
