Tragic accident: Child fatally hit by car in Kansas City driveway.
A tragic incident occurred on Sunday afternoon in south Kansas City when a young child was hit by a vehicle in a driveway. Authorities were called to the scene on East 96th Terrace, close to James A. Reed Road, just before 1:50 p.m. Unfortunately, the child passed away shortly after being struck by an SUV in the driveway. Medical personnel confirmed the child's death at the hospital. The driver involved stayed at the location as police investigated the incident.
