Tragic: 3 dead in suspected DUI accident in Sacramento
Three people were killed and one injured in a severe accident early Saturday in Sacramento where authorities suspect driving under the influence played a role. The incident, involving a truck and a vehicle, occurred around 12:45 a.m. at Roseville Road and Connie Drive. Unfortunately, the vehicle caught fire, making it impossible for officers to extinguish it in time to save two of the occupants inside. Another person, who was ejected from the car, also tragically lost their life. The driver of the truck, who is believed to have been driving under the influence, was rushed to the hospital in critical but stable condition. Interviewed by KCRA 3, a representative from Mothers Against Drunk Driving shared her deep empathy for the victims and their families, drawing from her own personal experience of losing her sister to a drunk driving accident decades ago. She emphasized the importance of making responsible choices on the road and having plans for sober transportation to prevent such devastating incidents. While the identities of the victims have not yet been released, the investigation continues. Stay updated with KCRA 3 for the latest updates on this developing story.
