Traffic Update: Multiple Trucks Collide in Northeast Ohio
Two separate accidents involving multiple semi-trucks caused significant traffic disruptions on I-71 in Medina County and I-80 in Trumbull County in northeast Ohio. The first crash, which included a chain reaction involving 8 trucks, led to a closure of I-80 westbound at State Route 193 and State Route 11 for about five hours. The second crash, in Medina County, resulted in the closure of I-71 northbound between State Route 83 and I-76. Traffic delays of up to 90 minutes were reported, with motorists forced to take detours. Emergency crews worked to clear the scenes and reopen lanes to alleviate the traffic congestion caused by the accidents. Despite the incidents, there have been no reports of injuries from either crash.
