Traffic on I-95 in Oak Hill in Volusia County Delayed due to Significant Accident

Interstate 95 experienced closures on Wednesday due to a crash site that reignited in flames later in the morning. The incident occurred in Oak Hill early in the morning, resulting in a temporary shutdown that was initially reopened but flared up again around 10:15 a.m. when crews were working on the guardrail. Flames were visible from highway cameras, and some lanes began to reopen by 10:45 a.m. The crash involved a semi-trailer colliding with a van, causing them to end up in the median and spilling plastic pipes on the interstate. A third vehicle also got involved by running over the pipes. The semi-trailer driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
