Traffic moving again after crash on I-469
A collision on I-469 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, led to substantial traffic congestion in the vicinity. The incident occurred on a Saturday morning around 10:30 a.m. on I-469 northbound, situated between Maysville Road and Wheelock Road at the 26.6-mile marker. Fortunately, only one person suffered minor injuries as a result of the crash. The Indiana Department of Transportation's TrafficWise reported the closure of the affected section of I-469 due to the accident. Initially, all lanes were shut down in the westbound direction from Maysville Road to Maplecrest Road. However, following the clearance by emergency personnel, this segment of I-469 has since been reopened to traffic between Maysville and Maplecrest roads.
