
Traffic light and parked cars damaged in Holyoke multi-vehicle collision
A collision involving two vehicles in Holyoke resulted in damage to a traffic light, light pole, and several parked cars on Saturday evening. Holyoke Police Chief Brian Keenan reported that the incident occurred at around 4:30 p.m. at the Appleton Street and Maple Street intersection. One of the vehicles involved hit a traffic light and light pole, while three parked cars were also damaged. There were no occupants in the parked cars. One driver was taken to Holyoke Hospital for evaluation of potential injuries. The intersection was closed off for investigation by the Holyoke Police Department.
