Traffic jam near Great Falls due to a crash
Emergency responders are currently on the scene of a vehicle collision located to the east of Great Falls. The incident occurred around 7:35 a.m. this Thursday, May 8, 2025, close to mile marker 83 on US Highway 89. The Montana Department of Transportation has issued an alert stating: "Crash has resulted in complete road closure, drivers should be prepared to stop and anticipate delays. Alternate route from mile marker 87.5 on US-89 redirecting to S-228, then S-331 before rejoining US 89 at mile marker 74.5 near Belt."
