Traffic disruption on I-85 due to a crash
UPDATE: The earlier crash on I-85 southbound has been resolved and all lanes are now operating. However, there is currently a partial lane closure affecting the right lanes, resulting in significant congestion stretching several miles back. The restricted lanes are between mile markers 61 and 59 due to a collision between a vehicle and an oversized load on the roadside. Only the left lane remains open to traffic. Reports from drivers confirm the limited access, and traffic congestion can be seen extending up to three miles on the SCDOT traffic cameras. Cleanup crews are on-site working to clear the debris.
