Traffic congestion due to accident on I-90 involving fuel spill.

An accident causing a diesel spill led to the closure of a section of Interstate 90 East in Cleveland just before the Cleveland Guardians' playoff game. The Cleveland Division of Fire reported the closure at the Carnegie Avenue exit following the crash involving a diesel spill. Although the building is open after Superior Avenue, two left lanes remained closed at 12:50 p.m. due to the incident. Cleveland police noted one minor injury in the crash involving two vehicles, including a semi-truck. The Ohio Department of Transportation warned motorists of a 40-minute traffic delay on that part of I-90. As an alternative route, those heading to Progressive Field for the game against the Detroit Tigers were advised to check the MLB website for suitable detours.
