Trader Joe's in South Burlington shut down due to car accident.

The South Burlington Police reported that a collision between two cars led to one of them losing control and crashing into the side of the Trader Joe's on Dorset Street. The incident occurred prior to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Following witness accounts, a Ford Transit turning onto Dorset Street hit a Honda Accord traveling north on the same street. It remains unclear which vehicle may have been at fault for the accident. The Honda Accord, upon being hit, veered into the Trader Joe's store, resulting in minor injuries to a customer present. Both the driver and the customer sustained minor injuries and were transported to UVM Medical Center for treatment. The South Burlington Trader Joe's, Vermont's sole location, is temporarily closed. Its closure has been extended through Wednesday, as indicated on the official website.
