Tori Spelling breaks silence after Temecula car crash with 4 kids: ‘We’re so grateful’

Tori Spelling has broken her silence following last week's car crash that sent the actress and her children and their friends to the hospital. On Thursday, Spelling, her four children and their three friends were involved in a car accident while they were in Temecula. "Grateful to all the first responders, to everyone that has reached out and checked on us, to all of you and your prayers, and to our guardian angels," her caption read on Instagram. In a video posted on the platform, the "Beverly Hills: 90210" actress said that they're all "okay, but it's been really overwhelming." "We are so grateful and so lucky, because it could have been so much worse," she said. Recounting the incident, Spelling claimed the other car was "speeding, was going crazy, crazy fast" and that they believed they ran a red light. "In a split second, I looked to my right, and I saw he was coming full on, full impact into the side of our car, and I turned hard left as hard as I could, as fast as I could, to avoid as much impact on the children as possible," she explained. "You spun us out." She continued to thank first responders and the staff at Southwest Healthcare Inland Valley Hospital in Wildomar. "I'm grateful to everyone who has reached out and repeatedly checked on us and offered to do whatever we needed to get us through this, and all the blessings everyone has sent," she continued. "So, thank you, everybody, and (I'm) still putting my thoughts together about everything that happened and just so much gratitude for life and the bravery of all of the kids in the car with what they went through. So thank you to everyone." The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office told People magazine that deputies responded to the crash around 5:45 p.m. Thursday and found two vehicles with collision damage. All occupants were evaluated at the scene before Spelling and the children were transported to a hospital in multiple ambulances, where they were treated for injuries including cuts, bruises, contusions and possible concussions, according to the reports. So far no arrests have been made and the crash is under investigation.
